Ulsi Beqiri is a Social Worker and Psychosocial Supporter. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Master of Science in Social Services with a focus on Criminal Justice.
He has been as a Social Worker and Psychosocial Supporter at Plan&Go Emergency Center, with over three years of experience at this organization serving victims of trafficking and abused minors. He has also fulfilled the role of a community mediator at the Plan&Go Organization, concentrating on early childhood development for the 0-8 age bracket by
providing essential assistance to alleviate challenges faced by vulnerable communities in proximity to
educational institutions and beyond Mr. Beqiri is also part of the psychological staff of Plan&Go Organization for Afghan Refugees aiming to promote communication, socialization and interaction between family members and
groups, organizing psychosocial activities for teenagers and young adults as well as developmental
and educational games with children.
Since July 2022 he has been serving as a Business Mentor for Young Entrepreneurs helping them to improve their business ideas and strategies through identification, mentoring, organization and group training as well as motivating them through actionable guidance and resources.
His career in Social Issues began as a civil society activist, subsequently evolving into a role as a field facilitator and interviewer. This experience encompassed a diverse array of disciplines and services pertaining to vulnerable groups. He has also served as an on-field coordinator at ¨Fundjava Ndryshe¨ Foundation focusing on cases identification and assessment for family vulnerable as well as offering direct services.
His experience in Social Work, has improved the professional acumen and competencies, enabling him to identify potential young individuals for active engagement in research and advocacy for their rights as he has been dedicated to raising awareness and conducting motivational initiatives across various age groups within the community. He has consistently engaged in targeted training endeavors, delving into areas such as Legal and Social Services, Project Development and Management, Social Law Education, and Youth Employment. This multifaceted learning journey has not only inspired but also aligned with his aspiration of fostering greater mobilization and participation of marginalized groups within civil
society.
